Language & Rural Experience
In this trip, the participants will get inmersed in the traditional culture of the Pyrenees with different activities. Furthermore, they will have funny Spanish lessons, and will learn the language in the amazing mountains of the Pyrenees.
The Spanish course will take place inside the classroom with a dynamic and funny methodology. Classes will also take place outside the classroom, in the nature, with practical language activities. The course is guided by Spanish native teachers with experience.
All the courses are adapted to the level of the students group and are designed in a careful way by the same teachers.
During their stay, the Spanish course is complemented with an attractive program where the students will be inmersed in the traditional culture of the Pyrenees. Thereby, they will became sepherds for one day, they wil take care of a traditional vegetable patch, they will visit a cheesemaker and a beekeeper, they will know authentic and lovely villages with their popular architecture, churches, or medieval castles.
It will be an unforgettable experience for the participants, full of learning, amusement and life-changing moments in the heart of the Pyrenees.
Sample itinerary
This one-week learning and rural experience take groups to the Pyrenees: living like a local, learning the rural jobs and enjoying the best experience ever in the heart of the Pyrenees.
Day 1
Beginning of the trip and reaching the accommodation
- Arrival at the selected accommodation surrounded by the most impressive mountains of the Pyrenees.
Day 2
- After breakfast, Spanish classes take place during the morning. The lessons combine classroom activities and outdoor activities. The teachers use a very dynamic and communicative methodology practicing conversation mainly.
- Time for lunch.
- After a delicious lunch, students become shepherds for one day. They accompany a herd of goats doing a small hike in the mountains, milk the goats, feed them and even taste their delicious cheeses.
- Return to the accommodation, time for dinner and relax.
Day 3
- After breakfast, Spanish classes take place during the morning. The lessons combine classroom activities and outdoor activities. The teachers use a very dynamic and communicative methodology practicing conversation mainly.
- Time for lunch.
- After a delicious lunch, students visit a beekeeper. They will learn about the important work that bees do for the environment and will know all the components in this marvelous and exciting world.
- Return to the accommodation, time for dinner and relax.
Day 4
- After breakfast, Spanish classes take place during the morning. The lessons combine classroom activities and outdoor activities. The teachers use a very dynamic and communicative methodology practicing conversation mainly.
- Time for lunch.
- After a delicious lunch, students visit on a guided tour, the best preserved Romanesque castle in the world. They will also became soldiers, jesters, and other characters playing medieval tournaments and games.
- Return to the accommodation, time for dinner and relax.
Day 5
- After breakfast, Spanish classes take place during the morning. The lessons combine classroom activities and outdoor activities. The teachers use a very dynamic and communicative methodology practicing conversation mainly.
- Time for lunch.
- After a delicious lunch, students visit an apple plantation. There, its owners will show students how to grow ecologic apples and will learn how to do apple jam.
- Return to the accommodation, time for dinner and relax.
Day 6
- After breakfast, Spanish classes take place during the morning. The lessons combine classroom activities and outdoor activities. The teachers use a very dynamic and communicative methodology practicing conversation mainly.
- Time for lunch.
- After a delicious lunch, students will be driven to one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. A medieval village full of history and picturesque corners. They will have free time to do some shopping and visit the village.
- Return to the accommodation, time for dinner and relax.
Day 7
Going back home
- After an unforgettable trip full of enriching experiences it’s time to say goodbye to the majestic mountains of the Pyrenees and go back home.
